Operating your Mobile-Mee

A few safety warnings:

  • Always wear personal protective gear suitable for the chemical you'll be spraying.
  • Only use water-soluble chemicals to avoid plugging the atomizing nozzles.
  • The maximum operating pressure is 1,900 pounds per square inch.

Procedure for initial startup:

High-pressure water will stay trapped inside the hose. After each use, turn off the pump and pull the spray gun trigger to release the pressure.

  1. Fill the tank with the preferred solution, and then connect the high-pressure hose to the pump.
  2. Press and hold down the red air bleed button on the filter until all the air has escaped.
  3. Put the discharge end of the hose into the tank.
  4. Prime the pump by squeezing the black priming bulb about six times.
  5. Then we will attach the spray gun.

The system is now ready for use. To operate, turn the pump switch on and pull the spray gun trigger. It's normal for the gauge to reset to zero when ready for use.

Shutdown procedures:

At the end of each day, you'll want to flush any corrosive chemicals from the system with water and empty the tank.

  1. Switch off the pump.
  2. Pull the trigger on the spray gun to release the pressure.
  3. Disconnect the spray gun from the hose  by using the brass quick-connect fitting.
  4. Now we are going to drain the tank. Aim the hose into a bucket or a drain and  switch the pump on until the tank is empty.
  5. Fill the tank with plain water and pump it through the system to  flush out any residual solution.

Please note that the next time the system is used, it may spray water for about 10 seconds before the chemical solution begins to flow. This happens because some plain water  may be trapped in the filter or line

Troubleshooting & maintenance tips:

  • If the motor does not start, push the red thermal overload button on the motor, and then reset the ground fault current interrupter at the end of the electrical cord.
  • If the unit fails to reach operating pressure, first, prime the pump to remove air from inside the pump. If that doesn't resolve the issue, check the inlet filter to see if it's dirty and replace it if necessary.
  • Pump oil should be changed after 50 hours from  the initial use, and every 500 hours thereafter. Filters should be replaced as necessary.
