Thomas Mee Jr. founded Mee Industries in 1969, bringing together his knowledge of chemistry, physics, and weather research to realize his vision of creating "a cloud that touches the ground" and in the process, developed the first high-pressure fogging machine. By the early 1980s, Mee Industries had revolutionized fogging systems, establishing a new industry standard through innovation and technology.
